Surface, structure and the space between them.

A study of surface

Our Summer 2026-27 collection is built entirely from surface decisions, where every weave, pile and finish carries meaning. Across rugs, cushions, throws and outdoor pieces, construction becomes part of the design language - creating depth through texture, relief, colour and finish.

Drawing from the organic rhythms of natural terrain and the discipline of architectural geometry, this collection finds balance between the instinctive and the considered. Some pieces feel almost geological; others are quieter, more restrained and designed to become part of the everyday.

"I wanted this collection to sit in the space between control and instinct. Every surface is a decision about how far to let nature lead and where geometry steps back in.

The wool pieces read almost like landscape, carved rather than woven, while the flatweaves and outdoor ranges pull that same tension into something quieter and more restrained."

Sculptural by design.

Wool remains the constant across the rug range, though the handmade processes draw something different from the fibre with each design. In Strata, Bastion, Edgewater and Mesa, varying pile heights, cut-and-loop constructions, tufted treatments and hand-carved surfaces bring relief and dimension to the floor.

Strata draws on the layered forms of geological strata, with hand-carved channels shifting across the surface to create depth through shadow rather than colour contrast. Bastion takes a more structured approach, with hand-stitched linear accents set against a saturated pile.

Together, these rugs move beyond the idea of a floor covering. Their surfaces are tactile, dimensional, and designed to hold their own as sculptural elements within a room.

Texture, at a closer scale.

The same language of surface and construction continues through the cushion collection. Quilting, print and weave bring the season’s textural focus into a more intimate scale, with velvet adding moments of softness and depth.

Outdoor, reconsidered.

Crafted from 100% recycled PET, the outdoor collection introduces two new rug constructions that push beyond the traditional flat outdoor weave.

Ormond takes inspiration from bouclé, creating a softer, more tactile surface with a residential quality.

Bedrock introduces a cut-and-loop pile surface with a subtle border detail. The high pile brings a cushioned, indoor sensibility to outdoor spaces.

Designed to move naturally between inside and out, the collection brings the comfort and considered materiality of interior spaces into outdoor living.
