The Practice of Bathing

By BAINA

3 DAYS OF DESIGN 2026 | PHOTOGRAPHY BY: Elizabeth Heltoft

Presented during 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, The Practice of Bathing marked the unveiling of BAINA Home Fragrance and extended the brand’s ongoing exploration into the rituals that frame our most intimate, restorative moments.

The exhibition considered how material, touch and scent shape the practice of bathing, bringing newly commissioned works by contemporary artists into dialogue with historical bathing objects and BAINA's towelling, apothecary and home fragrance collections. Together, the works formed a complete sensory environment, a study in tactility and reflection that considered bathing as both necessity and ceremony.

Selected to anchor the bathing space, our Norfolk rug in Ivory brought a sense of warmth and material depth, lending a quiet presence to the installation.
